Fantastic family escape from the city
Our extended family of 16 people (ages 12 - 81) and two small dogs had an awesome time at this spacious cottage with breathtaking views. The drive to the cottage was easy, the entrance was clearly marked, the driveway well-maintained, and there was plenty of parking for our 5 cars. There’s a wow factor on entering the cottage, with the oversized main windows looking out onto breathtaking views. The cottage itself had everything we needed and the two ovens came in handy for preparing meals for a large group. We enjoyed every space and amenity: enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, lots of seating, kids especially liked the games room which was great for family movie night. We also enjoyed the hot tub, the expansive dock, jumping into the lake and sitting under the lakeside gazebo. What a treat to have a place where we could all be together and not feel cramped! Kim was terrific to deal with and their hospitality is top notch! Overall, we had an outstanding time and only have positive things to say about Whitestone Lakehouse. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed spending family time at this beautiful property for the Thanksgiving long weekend. It was a perfect place for all of us (17 people) to relax, play games and laugh a lot. We had everything we needed and more!!

My family and I had the most amazing wedding weekend at Whitestone Lakehouse! It was the perfect venue for my intimate cottage wedding. Everything was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The fall leaves were at its peak and the view was just surreal from their great living room! The cottage was so luxurious, yet it still had a nice rustic cozy feel to it. Pictures on the website do not do this place justice! We spent a lot of time by the water and the short hike was worth it. We definitely made use of their hot tub, fire pit and sauna. It was spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone! Kim and Mark were the most amazing hosts I’ve ever interacted with. They were so helpful and responsive throughout the entire stay and throughout the entire year as I was planning my wedding. They even left a bottle of champagne for us upon our arrival. My families have never been to a cottage, and they were in awe this entire weekend. We will definitely be back in the near future! Our only complaint was the stay was not long enough!
This is such a great spot. I love the lake, the house, the outdoors - it is so private and quiet. Kim and Mark are great hosts and made our stay special. We had a great vacation.

We are a large Italian family and we come here every summer! This cottage is the perfect spot for us because we bring the whole family...and when I say "whole family" I mean we bring everyone. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins & Friends. Beautiful and Comfortable. I can't wait until next summer!

Whitestone LakeHouse is a premier Ontario Cottage ideal for families or multi-family vacations. The cottage is located outside of Parry Sound in the town of Dunchurch on a large waterfront property. This cottage is special because it offers renters privacy without being too far away from amenities.

What a fun spot! My wife and I have been thinking about buying a cottage for a long time. This is exactly what we were looking for without all the work. Thank you Kim & Mark. We have so many memories to take home with us.

We have small children (18months & 4) and we did not want the waterfront right up by the house. This place was perfect for us because the water is just a trail walk away...and lets face it you cannot beat the view.

We rented this cottage and a boat for 1 week in 2015. I can honestly say we had a great time at Whitestone. The kitchen is perfect and the table sat all of us (15 people). We had many great dinners and late night conversations around the fire.

When I go away I like to go somewhere that offers a true outdoor experience. I really appreciated the fact that we had no neighbours next door. The lake is big and has low traffic - great fishing right off of the dock.
